Cryogenic Dewar
You are sorting for a small sized liquid gas storage?
Click on Zoiun Fluid & Gas Equipment to obtain your cryogenic dewar for the storage of liquid air gases, such as liquid argon, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and oxygen...
These cryogenic liquids must be maintained at extremely low temperatures in order to remain stable in their liquid state and require effective insulation from the surrounding air to minimize heat transfer. We need some kind of vacuum inslulated tanks to handle this problem, so a cryogenic dewar is an ideal vessel, as a type of cryogenic tanks, to store these cryogenic liquids.
In fact, dewars are just a colloquial name, and however, they should be more accurately known as VGLs, referring to the top three connections/outlets on the vessels: Vent, Gas, Liquid.
Model Example of 175L Cryogenic Dewar:
- Nominal Capacity: 175L
- Usable Capacity: 164L
- Pressure: 2.3MPA
- Net Weight: 131KG
- Dimensions: 510*1540MM
- Liquid Level Gauge: Float
- Surface Treatment: Polish
The Benfits of Cryogenic Dewar:
1. The empty cryogenic dewar weighs approximately 130 kg, and when filled with liquid gas, the total weight reaches about 300 kg. In contrast, the total weight of 30 cylinders containing the same amount of compressed gas is nearly 2000 kg. This substantial difference reduces auxiliary transportation and manual handling costs. Additionally, it features automatic pressurization control, an energy-saving circuit, a built-in vaporizer, and pressure and liquid level indicators, providing high integration.
2. It operates at low storage pressure and includes a multi-level safety protection device, enhancing safety while ensuring straightforward and reliable operation.
3. Thanks to its substantial storage capacity, one cylinder can store the equivalent of approximately 30 standard gas cylinders (oxygen, nitrogen). This allows for reduced storage space requirements and minimized bottle replacement operations.
How do we make sure the quality of cryogenic dewars and medical oxygen dewars?
1. ISO9001: 2008 International Quality Supervision System Certification
2. Conduct 100% radiographic (RT) non-destructive testing and penetrant testing (PT) on the welding seams.
3. Perform strength testing using high-purity nitrogen (up to 99.999%).
4. Employ a high-precision helium mass spectrometer leak detector (with an accuracy of up to 2×10^-9 Pa·L/s) for helium mass spectrometer leak detection.
5. Subject the internal containers of the storage tanks to comprehensive pickling to meet the cleanliness requirements for hazardous materials.
6. Utilize imported ultraviolet blacklight lamps to ensure the absence of oil stains and other organic impurities inside the containers.
7. Assemble the inner and outer containers within a time interval not exceeding 2.5 hours after cleaning. Fill the inner containers and interlayers with nitrogen to prevent dust and organic impurities, ensuring cleanliness.
8. Apply overall sandblasting treatment to the inner and outer surfaces of the outer containers to meet Sa-2.5 standard requirements. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust adhering to the surface when the steel plate surfaces display a metallic color, further ensuring vacuum levels in the interlayer.
9. Use specially treated high-quality perlite as the insulation material in the interlayer.
10. Conduct gas-tightness and pressure performance tests on all internal cylinders after manufacturing.
11. Implement rigorous helium mass spectrometer leak detection on both internal and external cylinders.
12. After production is completed, open all pipe openings for nitrogen purging and replacement to meet oxygen usage standards. Subsequently, seal all pipelines and valves, filling the tanks with 0.2MPa high-purity nitrogen to protect them.
