How does LCO2 Ambient Vaporizer Work?

LCO2 ambient vaporizers consist of a series of aluminum or stainless steel tubes that are exposed to the air. The LCO2 flows through the tubes and absorbs the heat from the air, causing it to change from liquid to gas. The gas then exits the vaporizer at a specified pressure and temperature.

• Standard gap vaporizers: These have a small gap between the tubes, which allows for a high surface area for heat transfer. They are suitable for low to medium flow rates and pressures.

• Extra gap vaporizers: These have a larger gap between the tubes, which allows for more air circulation and less frost formation. They are suitable for high flow rates and pressures.

• Ambient pressure build vaporizers: These are designed to maintain a constant pressure in the LCO2 storage tank by vaporizing a small amount of LCO2. They are often used in conjunction with other types of vaporizers.

• Forced draft: This is a system that uses a fan to blow air over the tubes, enhancing the heat transfer and reducing the frost formation. It can improve the performance of any type of vaporizer.

• Automatic cycling system: This is a system that automatically switches between multiple vaporizers based on the demand and availability of LCO2. It ensures a continuous supply of CO2 gas at a constant pressure and temperature
