Operating Principle Of MVR Evaporator

MVR evaporator is a new type of energy-saving evaporation equipment mainly used in pharmaceutical industry. The equipment uses low temperature and low pressure steam technology and clean energy to generate steam as energy to separate water in the medium. It is an advanced evaporation technology. It is an upgraded product to replace the traditional evaporator. MVR evaporator is different from ordinary single-effect falling film evaporator or multi-effect falling film evaporator. MVR is a single evaporator with integrated multi-effect falling film evaporator. When the required concentration cannot be reached through the effector at one time, the product is pumped to the upper effector through the vacuum pump at the bottom of the effector through the external pipe of the effector after leaving, and then passes through the effector again and again through this repeated channel until the required concentration is reached.

The inside of the MVR evaporator is a row of thin tubes, with products inside and steam outside. In the process of product flowing from top to bottom, the heating area is increased due to the increase of pipe area, and the product flows in the form of film. A negative pressure is formed in the MVR evaporator, which reduces the boiling point of water in the product to achieve concentration. The evaporation temperature of the product is about 60 ℃.

The condensed water produced after the product is heated and evaporated by the MVR evaporator effect body, part of the steam and the residual steam after the effect body heating are separated by the separator. Condensate flows out from the lower part of the separator to preheat the products entering the effect body. The steam is pressurized through the fan supercharger (the higher the steam pressure, the higher the temperature), and then the pressurized steam is combined through the pipe, and the steam passes through the effect body again.

When MVR evaporator is started, some steam is required for preheating. After normal operation, the amount of steam required will be greatly reduced. During the process of pressurizing the secondary steam by the fan supercharger, the electric energy is converted into the heat energy of the steam, so it is necessary to reduce the steam of the MVR evaporator and greatly increase the power required.

The temperature of MVR evaporator is always around 60 ℃, and the temperature difference between heating steam and product is also around 5-8 ℃ during the whole flow process of the effect body. The smaller the temperature difference between the product and the heating medium, the better the protection of the product. When the product concentration is about 50%, only MVR evaporator can be completed. When the required concentration is 60%, flash equipment is required.
