Introduction

Liquefied Natural Gas Regasification plants are units that cool LNG to its liquid form, transport it to a specified location, and then heat the LNG to a gaseous state for storage and use. It usually consists of two parts: an LNG receiving station and a regenerative gasification unit. An LNG terminal is a facility used to receive and store LNG, usually consisting of liquid storage tanks and pipelines. A regenerative gasification unit is a facility used to heat the LNG into the gaseous state, usually consisting of a heater, a regenerative gasifier and a gas processing unit.
